Wiltshire Academy Ltd. provides one-on-one and group online tutorials and consultancy to its students and customers. Joining any course offered by Wiltshire Academy Ltd. is seen as acceptance of the following terms and conditions. Please read the following information carefully.

1. Scope of this Agreement

It applies to any user visiting the website www.wiltshireacademy.com which may or may not use any of its services offered.

2. Changes in the scope of this Agreement

Wiltshire Academy maintains the right to change its terms of service from time to time without the prior approval of our students, teachers or any other stakeholders. These changes will be applicable immediately after publication on its website.

3. Payment of Fee and Refunds

3.1 The fees paid for the courses are non-refundable.

3.2 The fee advertised on the website excludes Goods and Services Tax (GST) which will be added at the time of payment. The GST is levied by the local Government and is subject to changes.

3.3 If you are not able to join any class or are late, we are unable to provide a replacement class or do a part or full refund.

4. Teachers

4.1 Our teachers are contractors and are not employees of Wiltshire Academy Ltd. We expect them to follow the prevailing guidelines in the industry, however we are not ultimately responsible for what they do with any information you volunteer to give them in the course of the lessons with them.

4.2 Teacher will be held directly liable should the tone or content of their communications with you be deemed offensive in any way. We hold no responsibility for this, although we will be sure to investigate and discipline the offender if necessary, including, but not limited to, suspending or terminating their contract with us or reporting their conduct to the relevant government authorities.

4.3 In case a teacher is unavailable for any reason, we reserve the right to replace them with another teacher or cancel those classes without any notice. However, in case of cancellation a replacement class will be scheduled at a later date.

4.4 We reserve the right to reschedule the lessons in case of an emergency.

5. Equipment and Conditions

The following equipment is strongly recommended for you to maximize your experience as a student:

5.1 Minimum of 3 megabytes per second download speed broadband internet connection.

5.2 Desktop / laptop / tablet with 5 Megapixel web camera. While it is possible to access the online class on a mobile, the user experience is not considered satisfactory and is not encouraged.

5.3 A good quality headset to clearly hear and speak.

5.4 Wiltshire Academy does not bear any responsibility for the poor quality due to your Internet connection, computers or headsets.

6. Temporary interruption of service

Wiltshire Academy bears no liability for interruption or cancellation of classes due to force majeure events such as floods, fires, uprisings etc. In such cases, we will endeavour to arrange a replacement class but we will not be held responsible it can not be scheduled.

7. One Person One Account

Only one person can use one account. If we suspect that multiple students are using the same account, we will immediately suspend the student account pending investigation.

8. Removal From Classes

Wiltshire Academy retains the right to remove students from courses, should they feel that their behaviour is disruptive and not conducive to learning. Such behaviour may include use of swear words, nudity, offensive comments in class about religion, gender, sexual orientation or ethnicity.

9. Jurisdiction

Wiltshire Academy Ltd. is a UK company and any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions are subject to the UK law and the pertinent courts in that country.

10. Data protection

10.1 We store data as per the UK GDPR laws. Corresponding with us by email or any other method is seen as acceptance of our data protection policy.

10.2 To facilitate certain tasks and communication between ourselves and our students, we store some details about enquirers and students electronically including their contact details and details of email correspondence. However, this is strictly for use by Wiltshire Academy only and details will not be released to third parties.

10.3 We do not store debit or credit card details on our databases.

10.4 Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for the content, procedures or data policies of websites that we may have links with.

11. Complaints procedure

If you have any complaint about any aspect of the service you receive from Wiltshire Academy, please send your complaint in writing by email to the Director at admin@wiltshireacademy.com.
